Bafana Bafana

Bafana bafana a very promising team,  when it has to produce they will disappoint you though they have  won some games and pushed them up to number 46 in the Fifa ranking. to me they are still not good and do not show or rather represent the skill and football played in the PSL. there is alot of politics involved in south african football because everyone wants to have a say in it. People who have never played soccer but still they want to control the things dealing with soccer in our country.Some may have played but that does not mean they will be good leaders.Recently there was a big discussion going on whether they should change the Bafana Bafana name to something else. This was because the name Bafana Bafana does not belong to Safa but a businessman in Gauteng and the price he was asking was R41 million rands so they could get full ownership of the name. Rumor has it that it is to expensive and they want to give the boys a new name now which i think will be quite weird adapting to it.Who knows maybe when we change the name we will start winning, just maybe. Let us hope our country will qualify to go and represent us in the African Cup of Nations

The PSL Nearing the end

Our very own league is coming towards the end and once again a team will be crowned champions, its been a long journey filled with hard work and heartaches for team that have been relagated to player in the lower decision, the Mvela league. Chiefs have totaly lost the championship that they had in their hands for some time so have sundowns and its slowly slipping away for the Orlando Pirates team.Ajax however seem to be more determined and have been winning the last 5 games they have played and surely this weekend agains Kaizer Cheifs it will be a decider because if they win then surely they are going to be crowned champions of south africa.It will be first time in over a decade that they will win the Cup. It has been a long season for many team and a tiring season with many league games and  cup games where big teams were knocked out and only the under Dogs remain which no one had expected them to reach this afr in the Tournament.The title race is still on let's see who will prevail, though according to the books Ajax will win but anything can happen in soccer and that is what we will have to wait and see upon.

Barcelona Prevail once again

The El clasico once again where Barcelona were the better team and were able to go through to the champions League final after they were sadly knocked out by Bayern muchen  last season. Yesterday we witnessed a beating where Madrid were outclassed by a brilliant show of pure talent and skill from players like Mess i,  Xavi and the likes of Pedro. The Catalans also produced a wonderful game though unfortunately they were beaten on goal difference of 3-1. Barcelona are pn the verge of once again winning the champions league should they beat Manchester in Wembley, than surely  in my books i will crown the the Kings and matadors of football. this is by far the best team in the world and has the best players all together. They are a very intelligent club tactically technical but not so physical but are very fit and always take their games seriously no matter who the opponent is. Well not forgetting that they also have a very good coach who himself played at Barcelona and so knows very well what kind of football is played there and what the expectations are. let's see where Pep can take the Spanish giants this time around or will the old experienced Sir Alex Ferguson simply end that spell and take the champions league with Manchester for the fifth time. each side in football has 11 aside and one ball and so whatever they others do so can the others too. let us watch and see who will be the champion of 2010/2011.

Messi the special one....

The boy who seems to have no life compared to his mates and people of his age, who some say that he is a retarded but rather chooses to be quite and have and his own space and live in his own world. at the tender age Messi had problems with his legs but still the soccer talent was there and the team he was playing for could not afford his medication. He moved  to Barcelona because they could afford it and so they injected him with hormone growth so that his legs would grow normally. Ever since that day he has never looked back and has performed beyond measure for his club scoring 175 goals in 265 appearances.He also became the first person in the Spanish league to score 50goals in one season. There is certainly more to see from  this young talented guy who is only 23 years of age and has almost won everything a player would wish for in his career. Many believe that if he can win the world cup with Argentina he would be crowned legend of all time. With that we will have to wait and see because the Copa America is also around the corner so we will see how much  longer Messi will stay on everyone mouths and continue to amaze us with talent, that some other players can only watch and marvel at.

Who will be crowned Champion of 2010-2011

As the soccer leagues from almost all the countries in the world is soon coming to the end of the season which has about 6 games before the seaon ends. In Spain i think it is quite obvious who will be crowned champions again as Barcalona are the log leaders and Madrid far behind with 7 points and as things look no one will stop barcelona from taking the League cup. Crossing over to England things could still go either way between Manchester United  and Arsenal as the have 6 points differents between and with 6 games left it's there for the taking to the one who will not lose any match now but the race is on. When we coe down to South africa the league is really between four teams now and anyone can still grab it with only 4 matches remaining the teams that are in for the run are Chiefs, Pirates, Ajax and Sundowns.  From all the teams anyone can still win it but Pirates seem to  be more determined and Chiefs are righrt behind the as well as Ajax so in any of these three teams no one can afford to slip and fall behind, because they slip the lose.

Barcalona vs Real Madrid

Oh don't be fooled by the handshake there's more to it in this game than just that, it's all about who has done their homework better and watched all the videos and who has actually prepared well.  in Spain its called the great classico, great rivals of all time in football. skill versus class and more than that it's Ronaldo against Messi but it's a  matter of who prevails. Two of the worlds best players will meet this weekend and show their talent and its also about the two great coaches behind these men playing, the special one versus the hard worker but we will all have to see who will win, because at the end of the day there can only be one winner, that is the sad part in football you win some ans you loose some.

Youth Development For Future stars

Barcelona and arsenal known to be one of the best teams in the world when it comes to scouting young raw talent. they have the best scout team being able to see talent at a young age,even at a tender age of 9 years or even 7. they are so precise when it comes to selecting what and who they want for their clubs.In 200 players the arsenal scouts will probably take 10 players or even less and that's how they really want and get the best players in the world. Coming back to Africa and mainly south Africa we need to have such where we can scout for the best talent so that we can have the best players in the world also. The Europeans believe that the young the better it is to teach them and so for South Africa to have the best talent it should be searched for at a young tender age. if we want future stars than let's have the best development clubs where players and young men will be made and be responsible people that children will look up too as their role models.
